My first Book

A long time ago in a classroom now far far away from where I’m sitting now…

child-thinking

Boy: “Miss, I want to be a writer when I grow up”

Miss: (failing to contain laugh) “Well, unless you learn how to spell properly I can’t imagine you ever writing anything anyone will want to read.”

I don’t know if that was some kind of reverse psychology meant to inspire me…but it didn’t.

I didn’t choose English at A-level many years later, and I certainly didn’t study it at University with hopes of becoming a published author.

An author at last

But, from September 2016 a published author I have become!

Teach, Reflect, Doodle is my joyous first publication for teachers courtesy of the wonderful people at Bloomsbury Publishing !

A book designed to be very different to the average teaching tip book. Instead of images to go with text, this is a completely visual companion for the teacher – filled with skecthnotes to inspire good professional practice!

Treat your self!

As it’s almost Christmas and you’ve probably been out buying for everyone else for months, why not treat yourself to a copy? If you order before lunch time it could be with you tomorrow!

Merry Christmas everyone!
