Every year in every school for all sorts of lessons students collect data, they do it on paper, mass photocopied! Then they run around school with bits of paper and ‘collect data’ but we know they’re not all doing that, most are having a nice bunk time missing a lesson!

Google forms are brilliant alternative, create the form (online survey) email it out or save the link in an easily accessible place and then get people to fill it out form there!
Any device with access to the web can fill them out, phone, tablet, pc, laptop…All the data goes instantly into a nice spreadsheet for students to use later, easily plotting graphs etc and really understand how to handle valuable data!!
